I think that the 5.0 archon quest's pacing or something was kind of off for me. The sumeru archon quest really felt like a turning point in the archon quests being more than exposition fest like previous archon quests. And then fontaine doubled down on this idea by having the investigative part of the quest which was entirely unique gameplay for an archon quest so far. However, I feel like natlan has kind of regressed a bit back to how it was in inazuma or liyue.

I think a lot of the information that they presented was interesting, but I also feel like the amount of information kind of fatigues the mind to the point where none of it really sticks or makes sense. I kind of liked how Fontaine and Sumeru had more interactive ways of gaining new/important information for the archon quests because I feel like it helps solidify the information into manageable chunks. Like I remember I got chills from the whole mystery box thing in the Sumeru Archon quest. I feel like it was a more meaningful experience to be able to discover that you are in a samsara cycle, than to just be told.

I do have hope that the rest of the archon quests will be good, mostly because I think the lore is really interesting surrounding the humans and archonhood within Natlan, as well as the night kingdom.
